The Grand Kandyan Hotel organized the "The Grand Kandyan Vesak Kalapaya" for the 2nd time, to honour the teachings of Lord Buddha. The Vesak pandol, and the Vesak Lanterns were created by skilled hotel staff to commemorate this festival. A delectable soup "dansal" was carried out on this special day to praise the teaching of giving. Thousands of people gathered at the location to relish the event.
